FILE SIZE GUIDE

One file ratio. Several print sizes.

You don't need a separate file for every print size. A correctly proportioned file can be printed at several dimensions without stretching.

THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP

Match the print size to the correct file ratio.

Printing with the wrong ratio can cause unwanted cropping or stretching. Choose the MORILAND file that matches the proportions of your intended print size.

PAPER MATTERS

Which paper should I choose?

For most MORILAND artwork, I recommend a matte or fine art finish.

MY EVERYDAY CHOICE

Heavyweight Matte Paper

Smooth, elegant and low-glare. A beautiful choice for nursery, children's room and everyday wall art.

PREMIUM

Fine Art Paper

A more substantial, textured paper with a refined gallery-style appearance and rich color.

HOME PRINTING

Quality Cardstock

A practical option for smaller artwork and printing at home, depending on your printer.

What about glossy paper? Glossy paper can create strong color, but reflections can be more noticeable, especially when the artwork is displayed behind glass.

FRAMING YOUR ARTWORK

With a mat or without?

Both can look beautiful. You can place your print directly into a correctly sized frame, or choose a larger frame with a mat for a more gallery-style presentation.

Important: When using a mat, check the dimensions of the mat opening — not only the outside dimensions of the frame.
GOOD TO KNOW

A few final printing tips.

Why do the printed colors look a little different? +
Colors can vary slightly between screens, printers, inks and paper types. Screen brightness can also make artwork appear lighter or more saturated than the finished print.
Can I enlarge the artwork to any size? +
Do not enlarge a file beyond the maximum size stated in the individual product information. Excessive enlargement may reduce sharpness and print quality.
Should I stretch the artwork to fit my frame? +
No. Keep the artwork at its original proportions. If your frame uses a different ratio, choose another included file or use a suitable mat rather than stretching the image.
What if my size isn't listed? +
Send me the artwork title and the exact dimensions you need. I'll be happy to let you know which file to use or whether another size can be prepared.
