How to Print Your MORILAND Artwork
MORILAND digital artwork is supplied as high-resolution JPG files designed for quality printing at home, through a local print shop or with an online printing service.
Choose the Correct File
Before printing, select the file ratio that matches your intended print size. Using the correct ratio prevents unwanted cropping or distortion.
- 4:5 ratio: 4×5, 8×10, 12×15 and 16×20 inches
- 3:4 ratio: 6×8, 9×12, 12×16 and 18×24 inches
- 2:3 ratio: 4×6, 8×12, 12×18, 16×24, 20×30 and 24×36 inches
- 5:7 ratio: 5×7 inches and 50×70 cm
- ISO A ratio: A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1
- 11:14 ratio: 11×14 inches
The files included can vary by product. Check the individual product description before printing.
Professional Printing
For the best color, detail and paper quality, use a professional print shop or an established online printing service.
When ordering, select:
- Actual size or 100% scale
- No automatic cropping
- No image enhancement unless you specifically prefer it
- High-quality or fine-art printing
Recommended Paper
For most MORILAND artwork, we recommend heavyweight matte paper or fine art paper. Matte surfaces reduce glare and work especially well for nursery and kids’ room artwork.
- Matte photo paper: Smooth, affordable and suitable for most prints
- Fine art paper: Premium texture, rich color and an archival-style finish
- Cardstock: Suitable for smaller prints, cards and home printing
Glossy paper can produce strong color but may create reflections when displayed behind glass.
Printing at Home
Home printing is best for smaller sizes. Use the printer’s highest-quality setting and select the correct paper type in the printer settings.
Always print at the file’s original proportions. Do not stretch the image to fill a different ratio.
Print With or Without a Mat
A print can be placed directly into a frame or displayed with a mat. When using a mat, check the mat opening—not only the outside frame dimensions—to determine the correct print size.
Color Differences
Colors can vary slightly between screens, printers, inks and paper types. Screen brightness and display settings can also make artwork appear lighter or more saturated than the printed result.
Maximum Print Size
Do not enlarge a file beyond the maximum size listed in the product description. Enlarging it further can reduce sharpness and print quality.
